Learning at Work degree courses by University of Portsmouth

The University of Portsmouth's Learning at Work program offers a diverse selection of work-based and distance learning courses at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Many of our courses are applicable towards professional recognition, such as IEng and CEng with professional bodies such as IET and IMechE.

1. Mandatory Learning Management Module
2. Work-based learning projects
3. Optional modules - distance learning modules

Entry Requirements

There are no standard requirements, every application is assessed on its own merit.

 

Typical Applicants for BA or BSc (Hons) course

  1. Would have a Level 4 and Level 5 or equivalent qualification and three or four years’ work experience;

  2. Will need a sufficient level of English for your chosen course.

 

Typical Applicants for MA or MSc course

  1. Usually working at a professional level

  2. Normally have a first degree or equivalent, but other qualifications at level 5 HND, supported by several years of relevant post-qualification experience in responsible posts, may be acceptable.

  3. Will need a sufficient level of English for your chosen course.
